SKYLINE 1500 is an innovative current generator for rod welding (MMA - SMAW), designed for even the most discerning professional, while being extremely simple to use for the less expert welders to guarantee results that are always perfect.

STRENGTHS
The innovative technology that has been adopted, the scrupulous construction care and the use of cutting edge materials and components have helped reduce the weight, the volume and the energy intake, increasing its reliability, performance and the welding features. When the generator is turned on and off, it is governed by a 32 bit microprocessor that gives precise control of the welding process and constantly monitors all the vital parameters, triggering automatically in the case of any problems. Besides excellent results with standard electrodes (rutile, basic, stainless steel, aluminium, etc.) the generator also allows using cellulosic electrodes with equally excellent results.

APPLICATIONS
It can be used for TIG DC (GTAW) lift welding. The simple user-friendly control panel allows rapid settings and precise measurements of the welding parameters, to guarantee constant process quality and repetition. For rod-welding the Hot Start can be regulated for easier striking of the coated rods and the Arc Force can be regulated to prevent any arc gluing during welding.

PROTECTION SYSTEMS
The protection systems on the generator make it extremely safe to use and protect its integrity in case of overheating, overtension and overloads. In the event of overtension the generator automatically disconnects from the mains and turns itself off and the problem will be signalled the next time it is turned back on. Furthermore, with the innovative intake power control function it is ideal for using with any sort of generator, even low voltage ones, exploiting all its available energy.
